Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data mshaheerbjunaid.com processes, why, for how long, and what you can do about it. It describes the site as it is actually built and configured.
Who is responsible
The site is run by Muhammad Shaheer Bin Junaid, based in Pakistan, who decides how the personal data described here is used. You can reach him at contact@mshaheerbjunaid.com or through the contact form.
When you read the site
This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services, and sets no cookies for visitors.
Fonts, styles and scripts are served from this domain. Pages do not embed videos, social-media widgets, advertising or other third-party content, so reading the site does not send your data to other companies.
The server that hosts this site records technical data about each request: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time. It is used to deliver pages, keep the service running and defend it against abuse. The hosting provider keeps these logs for a limited period, and they are not used to build profiles of visitors. Repeated failed sign-in attempts are counted against a keyed, irreversible hash of the IP address so that password guessing can be blocked; those counters expire within a day.
When you use the contact form
The form asks for your name, email address, the topic of your message, the message itself and, optionally, your organisation. This information is used only to read and reply to your message.
- Messages are sent over HTTPS and stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) on the site’s server, with the encryption key kept outside the database.
- A notification email is sent to the site owner; it contains only a reference number and the topic, not your message or contact details.
- Only the site owner can read stored messages, through the password- and two-factor-protected administration area.
- Messages are deleted automatically after 180 days, or sooner on request.
- To limit abuse, the form counts how many messages arrive from one connection using a keyed, irreversible hash of the IP address. These counters expire within 24 hours. A hidden field and a timing check also filter out automated submissions.
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, the legal basis is the site owner’s legitimate interest in answering correspondence you chose to send, or steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies for visitors. Logged-in administrators receive the authentication cookies WordPress needs to keep them signed in.
Who else receives data
Personal data is not sold, rented or shared for marketing. It is processed by the hosting provider that runs the server and, when a notification email is sent, by the email provider that handles the site’s mailbox. These providers may process data outside Pakistan.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, by writing to contact@mshaheerbjunaid.com or using the contact form. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the rights to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your data protection authority. This site applies the GDPR’s principles to every visitor, wherever they are.
Security
The site uses HTTPS throughout, encrypts stored messages, requires two-factor authentication for every administrative account and is maintained with current security updates. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it to contact@mshaheerbjunaid.com with “Security” in the subject line.
